Event News

Participate in the series with 86 and for the exhibition with LF-A.

Tuning LF-A of OTG Motor Sport is moving well forward.
Test drive is being planned early March.

LF-A is a new machine of OTG Motor Sports which was shown at D1GP Kick Off Drift of TOKYO AUTO SALON. It just carried the engine once month ago at TOKYO AUTO SALON but the production process moved forward rapidly at OSAKA AUTO SALON.
The engine installed is TRD made 5.8 litter, OHV for NASCAR. This is NA but has 700ps power and aims for over 1000ps with turbocharger using interval before Ebis match after Odaiba battle. For the leg area, it has modified to battle for D1 Grand Prix and completed by the end of Feb for a test drive at the beginning of March.
On the other hand, the modification of 86 was developed, which had been processed since last season. The camshaft has been replaced and increased in torque. Peak power became lower but seems to increase in torque between low-revolution and high- revolution.
86 is planned to run a test drive at the end of this month and aims at over 1000ps like LF-A.
Driver Yoichi Imamura said and showed slightly with full of enthusiasm “ What I only have to do now is season with salt and pepper. As long as a driver is careful how to add or not to make any mistake of the amount, it should go well I think and I can’t wait the test drive after seeing the result of cam replacement so.”
As his final ranking was 7th at 2014 season, he will be exempted from pre qualify at opening match in Odaiba. He is potential to get the victory after a long time.
